In the past, I made the mistake of wearing jeans while travelling on long haul flights and I have regretted it! For my trip to Miami, I chose these leggings, a soft sweater, high top sneakers, a travel tote, sunglasses and a cap. Leggings of any color are fine but I went with black because it is the perfect canvas when it comes to styling and it also hides stains really well. ( in case there is turbulence and you spill a beverage on yourself) .Plus it was spring season and NJ was brisk and I wanted to be cozy and warm. These mid-waist leggings are made of spandex and nylon, making them ultra comfortable, I honestly didn’t feel any discomfort on my airplane ride. I also like the tapered end because it fits well with my high top sneakers. The soft sweater was really cozy, and not clingy, the perfect top for transitioning from 40 degrees to 85 degrees, and still look fabulous. You never know when you will get that extra cold air conditioning draft , whether its in the plane or the Ubers, so, this soft sweater is appropriate for those instances.
The best airport outfits for women vary with the season and time of the year, as well as where you are headed to.Unless you have a private plane, you will want to minimize personal items on hand ,so you can get comfortable, and have plenty of legroom around you, without extra clothes burdening you. This is why wearing a transition top that works well from cool to hot is super important.
The airport outfit look below was for Orlando, Florida which this summer has seen record heat and humidity. These cool blue cargo pants were comfy and light. I was able to wait for my Uber in the high heat without any problems. I chose to wear a white top because it was after memorial day. I take every opportunity to wear white very seriously. Isn’t it a beautiful contrast though that screams SUMMER!

So to make air travel easy, be wise about what’s going on the journey with you otherwise you will pay a price plus the luggage will be heavy to lug around, ugh not fun. Just make sure to leave room to carry souvenirs from your trip!

For air travel, invest in comfy footwear, preferably sneakers, which are a popular choice and for good reason. They give you great support and cushioning which will come in handy if they do a last minute gate change ,and you have to walk a while.I chose these high top sneakers and I have to rave about how comfortable they are. I walked a while and didn’t endure foot pain nor did I feel the need to remove them once I was seated.
The best travel tote for an airplane needs to be stylish and functional. I want a bag that has different compartments, and is large enough to carry my essentials. A top zipper is a must to secure important documents and gadgets. Just remember to check the size requirements for the tote bag because if it cant fit under the seat in front of you , then it goes in the overhead bins. If no space in the cabin, it will be treated as checked luggage so do not overlook this!
