The Perfect Red Skirt and Black Top Pairing
A red pleated skirt is a total showstopper, and when paired with an off shoulder black top, it brings elegance and holiday cheer to the next level. This look give chic and flirty and I love that the off shoulder black top just shows the right amount of skin without going overboard. A black and red pairing is always an interesting combo because it is not only bold, but looks sophisticated. This Christmas outfit for ladies works because of the color and texture. The bright red pleated skirt is the base for the holiday look and the pleated add vintage flair. The black off shoulder top creates a great contrast to the red pleated skirt, balancing out the colors so the bright red is not too much.
Guys, this combo works for whatever Christmas holiday party you are planning on going. It is a dressed up outfit but its not over-the tip. I paired this look with my holiday suede pumps in black and for jewelry, I added this gold tone chain link necklace and drop earrings. Since we are going for a festive look, we want some sparkle in the outfit.
You can also pair this outfit with ankle boots in neutral colors like black , white or beige. We have had a great fall and I hope to have a mild winter but nevertheless, you need a shawl to wrap yourself as you walk in and out of the party. A leather jacket will do wonders for this outfit.
Pair a Red Bow Skirt with A Striped Turtleneck Top
Another pairing that is quite festive and fun is combining a red bow skirt with a striped turtleneck top. As you can see, I love red! Seriously, the red bow skirt is giving holiday and whimsical vibes, while the striped top keeps things casual and stylish. There is something about stripes that makes an outfit pop but also gives off relatable vibes, which means you can stand out at the party but still not be over the top.
You can throw on ankle boots, pumps or even knee high boots for this look. I wear a of pumps and so I decided to give heels a break and got these Chelsea boots , that are super comfortable.
It was a warm day when I took these pictures, but since the holidays happen in frigid weather, you can pair this outfit with a sleek leather jacket to complete the look. The contrast of the striped top and red skirt against a moto jacket is very cool. Stay away from cardigans when going for chic outfits, as they can make you look slouchy and wider. For jewelry, I had on simple huggies earrings in silver. Since the striped top is doing a lot of “talking” and the bow on the red skirt is center stage, minimal jewelry like stud earrings are a great idea. A black purse or clutch completes the look!

Complete the look with some animal print pumps heels to add attitude to the outfit. I also added a gold tone necklace for a little sparkle. Add a black or red leather clutch or go for an animal print purse. This is an easy and professional look that can work for an office holiday party!
