I take my time away very seriously and so I  like to plan my vacation outfits weeks in advance. In the past, I was guilty of packing a whole lot of clothes for my getaways with a plan to just rummage through as I needed them at my destination. There is something very alluring about floral print dresses so that whatever destination spot you choose, it just screams “vacation mode”. I chose this floral print dress as my vacation outfit because the weather for Nassau , Bahamas showed it was going to be hot in the first half of April. As  a person who resides in the north east, this warm weather outlook was something I looked forward to , and wasn’t going to let my vacation wear include bulky dresses that would make my stay uncomfortable. So, yes this floral dress lived up to its expectation of keeping me cool, dry and fabulous. Did I tell you how whimsical this look was , I kept getting compliments – nuggets that make me happier and reaffirm my outfit choice.

 

Not to brag, but you know when your cruise ship is stopping at a port of call, and you want to spend as much time learning about the culture, the food, get to know the vibes of the town, the last thing you want to do is worry about styling a a complicated outfit. This floral print dress was easy to style as you can see, I just paired the dress with a colorful statement necklace, a bracelet , beach bag, I threw on  sandals and shades and I was on my way.
